Port St. Lucie's Council District 3 occupies the south-westernmost area of the city, delineated by Gatlin Boulevard/Tradition Parkway to the north, the Turnpike to the east, the C-23/County Line Canal to the south, and Rangeline Road to the west.

 

This district boasts a blend of characteristics, harmonizing Port St. Lucie's newest developments to the west with its cherished hometown allure, featuring some of the city's original parks and neighborhoods nestled within the Whispering Pines Neighborhood.

Within the confines of District 3, are corridors such as Village Parkway, Port St. Lucie Boulevard, and Becker Road where not only does this district showcase picturesque neighborhoods, but it also boasts an array of remarkable local businesses, shoppes, and dining establishments that exemplify the finest offerings Port St. Lucie has to present.  Moreover, it could be said that the County’s largest economic engine is strategically situated in this district, adjacent to I-95—a hub encompassing state-of-the-art biotech research, cutting-edge medical facilities, and a vibrant network of manufacturing and distribution establishments.

 

For those in pursuit of tranquility amidst nature's beauty, District 3 encompasses the treasured McCarty Ranch Preserve and Extension. Spanning over 300 acres, this pristine parcel of old Florida stands as one of the last vestiges of untouched wilderness in the Treasure Coast, west of the Turnpike.
